Theodora Green, LSW, CADC, CAMSII, DVA, RMA, C-DBT (she/her)
Associate Therapist
Theodora Kenyatta Green is a Licensed Social Worker, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Anger Management Specialist II, Autism Disorder Specialist, and Certified Domestic Violence Advocate.
With six years of experience working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and other marginalized populations, she employs an intersectional approach to address the oppression and discrimination resulting from the overlapping social identities of individuals or communities. A dedicated lifelong learner, Theodora has delved into various modalities to bring healing to those in need. Her commitment to professional growth is evident in her ongoing pursuit of a degree in Registered Nursing at Waubonsee Community College, as she firmly believes in holistic care that encompasses the healing of both the body and the mind.
Theodora completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work at Northeastern Illinois University in 2023. Her expertise extends to areas including Substance Use Disorders, Autism, Family Systems, Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, and supporting survivors of Domestic Violence. She exhibits sensitivity to addressing the needs of the unhoused and individuals reentering the community after being incarcerated. Moreover, she has a community health background and regularly volunteers at various events focused on improving the well-being of some of the most underprivileged communities.
