Clara Villaseñor, LCSW (she/they)
Clinical Supervisor
Clara is a queer Latinx licensed clinical social worker and supervisor at Orange Tree Counseling. She speaks both Spanish and English fluently and is learning American Sign Language (ASL) to bridge communication with her deaf partner. With over a decade of experience, Clara has worked with clients across a broad spectrum— from unaccompanied minors in detention centers to young adults in transitional living programs, and children navigating the foster care system.
Clara’s true calling lies in empowering adolescents and young adults who face the devastating effects of generational and societal trauma, systemic racism and class oppression, as well as the layers of gender and sexual identity and discrimination. She is especially driven by working alongside her clients to confront long standing fear and insecurity with a decolonizing, anti-racist, and anti-capitalist framework. Her mission is to create a safe, healing space for people from all walks of life—particularly those who identify as QTBIPoC. Clara’s joy and purpose is to genuinely honor people’s experiences and guide them to heal at their own pace. She believes deeply in the power of self-discovery and breaking free from harmful patterns that cause suffering. Clara’s insightful proficiency offers a path to reclaiming one’s power and peace.
