At Orange Tree, we provide decolonized, trauma-informed, identity-affirming mental health care for individuals and communities across Illinois, North Carolina and Florida. We are a values-centered team rooted in liberation, cultural humility, and collective wellness.

Right now we are seeking clinicians licensed in Florida or Illinois only. We welcome clinicians and staff who are aligned, reflective, and committed to ethical, community-centered healing.

Work Structure & Location

Illinois clinicians: Virtual and in-person options at our downtown Chicago amenities building office
Florida clinicians: Virtual-only
Full-Time: 25 client hours/week
Part-Time: 15 client hours/week

Clinical Roles

1. Associate Therapist (Pre-Licensed, W-2) – Hyrbid or Virtual
Licensure: LSW, LPC (IL or FL)

About the Role:
Provide individual therapy with strong support, supervision, and reflective practice as you work toward advanced licensure.

You’ll Receive:
W-2 employment + benefits
Weekly/biweekly supervision toward licensure
Professional development & mentorship
Access to case consultation and team meetings

We’re Looking For:
Pre-licensed clinician (LSW or LPC)
Licensed in Illinois or Florida
Strong grounding in identity, trauma, culture, and relational work
Commitment to decolonized, anti-oppressive practice
Desire to grow clinical voice and confidence

2. Staff Therapist (Fully Licensed, W-2 or 1099) – Hybrid or Virtual
Licensure: LCSW, LCPC, LMFT (IL or FL)

About the Role:
Provide individual and/or group therapy with flexibility and autonomy, while remaining grounded in community and clinical integrity.

Employment Options:
W-2 (with benefits)
1099 (flexible contractor role)

We’re Looking For:
Fully licensed in IL or FL
Strong trauma-informed, identity-centered clinician
Alignment with anti-oppressive, liberation-focused work
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Specialties welcome (not required)

3. Clinical Manager (W-2) – Hybrid or Virtual
Licensure: Fully licensed in IL or FL
Experience: 2+ years in supervision or clinical leadership

Responsibilities:
Provide consultation, oversight, and mentorship to clinicians
Support onboarding, training, and documentation review
Help shape clinical systems and team culture
Partner with the Executive Director on practice development

We’re Looking For:

Deep grounding in trauma, identity, and decolonized practice
Strong leadership and relational skills
Ability to balance support with structure
Commitment to sustainable, ethical clinical care

Administrative Roles

4. Client-Facing Administrative Coordinator (1099) – Virtual
Support clients and clinicians through warm, organized, trauma-informed administrative care.

Responsibilities:
First point of contact for all client inquiries
Scheduling, onboarding, and communication support
Document and workflow organization
Maintain ethical boundaries and relational professionalism

We’re Looking For:

Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfort working with diverse and marginalized communities
Admin or mental-health adjacent experience preferred
High emotional intelligence and steady presence

5. Part-Time Billing Specialist (1099) – Virtual
**Must have Medicaid billing experience**

Responsibilities:
Claims submission, tracking, and reconciliation
Manage denials, resubmissions, and insurance follow-up
Support clinicians with documentation/billing questions
Maintain compliance with Medicaid and insurance standards

We’re Looking For:
REQUIRED Medicaid billing experience
Familiarity with EHRs and insurance systems
Strong attention to detail
Clear communication and reliability
