“Without community, there is no liberation.”
― Audre Lorde

Being the eldest daughter from a family of Nigerian Immigrants, I have the empathic understanding and awareness to address the hardships that come from living and finding yourself between two cultures. Combined with my background and experiences as a clinician, I’m equipped to work with clients of diverse populations, with a focus on Black & IPOC, Queer identified individuals, and others from intersecting marginalized communities.

While practicing from an Existential-Humanistic approach, my goal is to provide clients with a space to comfortably process experiences, develop personal skills, and embrace underappreciated aspects of themselves. Our time together will be used to further facilitate your self-reflection and personal growth, all while fostering an honest & intentional therapeutic relationship.

My work is geared towards individuals in early to later adulthood with issues ranging from general anxiety/depression, tackling neurodivergence, navigating difficult family dynamics, processing life changes and
addressing past traumas as well as it’s impact on a persons present day behaviours & experiences.

As an active member of the Chicago community, I’ve been able to create and participate in spaces that honour Safety, Rage, Accountability, Radical Joy, and Acceptance. I’m driven towards the liberation of all Black and Indigenous peoples; understanding the need and importance of therapy & the transformation that comes though the access of culturally competent care.
