Livi Murray, LSW (she/her)
Associate Therapist

I believe healing is both a psychological and a spiritual process, and that creativity is one of the most powerful ways we reconnect with ourselves.
I’m passionate about creating a supportive space where people can reconnect with themselves, heal from past wounds, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic. For many of the people I work with, that path involves more than talking. It can include creative expression, reflection, ritual, and the exploration of what gives life meaning.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I see myself as a compassionate partner in your journey. Together, we can explore patterns, make meaning of your experiences, and create space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. Along the way, I will gently challenge you, celebrate your progress, and sit with you through the uncertainty that often accompanies change.
My work centers on supporting individuals from marginalized and underrepresented communities as they navigate identity development, relationships, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and the impact of trauma. I’m particularly interested in how attachment patterns, lived experiences, and social environments shape the ways we understand ourselves and connect with others. Many of the people I work with find themselves asking: Why do I keep showing up this way in relationships? or How can I feel safer being fully myself?
My approach is relational, trauma informed, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through both insight and embodied awareness. I value the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and I work with clients to move beyond intellectual understanding toward meaningful shifts in how they relate to themselves, their emotions, and the people around them. Creativity can open doors that words alone sometimes can’t, so I welcome expressive tools such as journaling, imagery, music, movement, or art-making when they feel supportive and accessible to you. No artistic skill is needed, only curiosity.
I also honor spirituality as a source of strength, resilience, and meaning, whether that looks like faith traditions, ancestral practices, nature, intuition, or something that’s still taking shape for you. For clients who are interested, I welcome thoughtful conversations around spirituality and may incorporate reflective tools such as shadow work, astrology, or tarot when they support the therapeutic process and align with your values. You are always the authority on what feels true and meaningful for you.
Outside of therapy, I love exploring the intersection of art, food, and culture. You can find me facilitating and mediating community conversations, listening to jazz (especially live), deepening my love for astrology, traveling, and settling into cozy coffee shops or nearby parks. I journal near open windows and look for moments of beauty and connection in everyday life. You can also find me unapologetically enjoying Real Housewives and other reality shows that explore love, relationships, and human connection.
